The time is approaching, the chronological end of the original Millennium Development Goals, the beginning of a new development agenda. During the last years, the world has been engaged in developing the future development agenda. One of the main outcomes of the UN’s Rio+20 conference was an agreement to develop a set of Sustainable Development Goals, which will be built on the Millennium Development Goals and converge with the post-2015 development agenda.
The IFMSA have made a huge effort to place global health and action upon social determinants of health as a key policy and advocacy focus area. Within the last 15 years new health concerns have emerged including universal health coverage, mental health, and non-communicable diseases.
As youth, as future physicians, you have a powerful voice in the discussion on sustainable development. With this follows a great responsibility to speak up! It is very important to take a stand on the future agenda. We have to unite our strengths and work together to achieve our goals in global health.
Let EuRegMe 2015 be the stepping stone to mobilise the strengths of the European NMOs.
Let’s work together!
Wake up happy

Exellent conference facilities
- at the award-winning waterfront
The venue for EuRegMe 2015 will be Musikkens Hus (House of Music) and Aalborg University, idyllically situated at the beautiful waterfront of Aalborg. Both locations are located close to accommodations in the centre of the city.
Musikkens Hus is a brand new venue in Aalborg that houses musical and cultural events. The building is designed by the world famous Austrian architects COOP HIMMELB(L)AU and will open its doors in April 2014. Musikkens Hus houses the big Concert Hall, and three other halls suitable for events up to 300 guests; Rhythmic Hall, Classical Hall and Minor Hall. Each of them designed and decorated depending on the genres in question.
The hall of choice is the Minor Hall. The Minor Hall is the multi-purpose hall in Musikkens Hus. Due to its flat floor, the hall can be used for a wide variety of events. If used for concerts, a stage will be constructed but the hall can also be used for seminars, meetings and much more.
Aalborg University has kindly provided us with extra auditoriums for our Standing Committee meetings and excellent trainings. There will be six auditoriums together with smaller rooms, and there will be plenty of space to arrange sessions as we please.
